The Digital Loop Accelerator Demo Day brought together startups, mentors and partners working to advance circular economy innovation in Albania. The event opened with welcoming remarks from Kushtrim Shala, Executive Director of ALBICT, followed by insights from Marcel Thomkins, Component Manager of EU4CELC, highlighting the importance of partnerships and EU support in strengthening Albania’s circular economy ecosystem.
The journey of the accelerator was presented by Vikas Malhotra, Project Head of DLA, reflecting on the growth and dedication of the participating teams throughout the program.
As a mentor in the Digital Loop Accelerator, Mireda Thana supported startup teams in strengthening collaboration, communication and team dynamics as they developed their innovative solutions.
During the Demo Day, startups Tritech, Taste Don’t Waste, and Stoa presented their ideas for building more sustainable and circular business models. The winning team of the program was mentored by Mireda Thana, supporting their journey in refining teamwork, dialogue and collective decision-making.
